I recently visited Jatujak Bangkok Street Food in Ara Damansara, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy and homey atmosphere of the place. But what really impressed me was the food!
The Grilled Salt Baked Fish was a standout dish for me. The fish was fragrant and fresh, and the salt baking technique gave it a unique and delicious flavour. I loved the way the fish was presented on the plate. with herbs and spices sprinkled on top. The dish is often served with a side of green salad and a spicy dipping sauce made with lime juice, fish sauce, and chili peppers.
Another dish that really impressed me was the Red Tom Yam Soup with seafood & mama mee. This soup was spicy, aromatic, and rich, with a perfect balance of flavours. The seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection, and the mama mee added a nice texture to the dish.
I also tried the Spicy & sour Soup with Pork Ribs (Leng Saab), which was flavourful and refreshing. The soup had a nice kick to it, and the pork ribs added a satisfying crunch. It was the perfect dish to cleanse my palate after the spicy Tom Yam Soup.
Lastly, I tried the Red Ruby Water Chestnut, which was sweet and eye-catching. The bright red colour of the dessert really caught my eye, and the combination of the cool and juicy water chestnut cubes with the sweet coconut milk sauce was a perfect way to end my meal.
Overall, I would recommend Jatujak Bangkok Street Food for anyone looking for authentic Thai cuisine. The food is delicious, and the cozy and homey atmosphere makes for a great dining experience.
